Onesia joined Wells Fargo Bank and the Birmingham Middle Market Banking Team in June of 2014 through the Financial Analyst Program. In which she was a vital team member assisting in risk management of the two billion dollar portfolio consisting of mid-sized companies located in the Mid-South region across a variety of industries. Upon completion of the FAP Program in October 2016, Onesia participated in the Wells Fargo’s Credit Management Training Program in San Francisco, where she enhanced her deal evaluation, debt structuring, underwriting and business development skills. Onesia graduated from the 81st CMTP class in October 2017 and thereafter joined Wells Fargo Capital Finance -Lender Finance Team in Dallas, TX as a relationship manger, where she is responsible for the credit administration of a portfolio of middle market Lender Finance clients including ABL, Factors, Equipment Finance, Life Science and Healthcare.
A native of Mobile, Alabama, Onesia attended Alabama A&M University in Huntsville where she graduated with a B.S. in finance.
Any hobbies people are surprised to hear you have?
I am in the process of starting a non-profit with two of my best friends, titled M.E.L.T. – Mentoring and Empowering Leaders of Tomorrow. M.E.L.T.’s goal is to mentor and tutor young women in middle school.
Vacation spots you recommend?
Growing up on the Gulf Coast, I always invite everyone to visit one of our local beaches with Orange Beach and Gulf Shores being two of my favorite. While you’re there be sure to enjoy some of the best seafood ever, I recommend swinging by Wintzell’s and trying the oysters!
Most interesting company you have worked with?
I’ve been with Wells Fargo for almost four years and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here and look forward to my future with the Company. Wells Fargo has proven its Vision and Values of team members being its competitive advantage through the investments that were made in me through the Financial Analyst Program and the Credit Management Training Program. These programs have provided me with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of credit and expand my network in order to become a well-rounded leader, which will provide value to my team and our customers. Favorite dish to cook?
Staying true to my southern roots, shrimp and grits is my favorite dish to cook for friends and family.
See any good concerts or entertainment event lately?
I was able to catch one of my most favorite entertainers, Beyoncé on tour in 2016 and if things work out as planned, I’ll be able to see her again in September!
